In-The-Canal

With a discreet, glasses-friendly fit and external controls, our in-the-canal technology is a great fit for just about any lifestyle, including yours.

For Patients With:

All Levels of Hearing Loss

I have been wearing hearing aids since the 1950s, but it wasn’t until I found Highline Hearing Professionals that I really learned about them. I found Highline about 20 years ago, and for the first time, things were explained to me. I found I had choices for hearing aids and did not have to just take the one that the doctor wanted to sell me. Everyone at Highline is very knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. They work hard to fit you with just the right one. And they have a follow-up and maintenance program that really helps. Give them a try, and I am sure you will like them as much as I do.

For those who prefer a more discreet hearing system without sacrificing power and technology options, In-the-Canal style hearing instruments provide a comfortable better-hearing solution. In-the-Canal devices work for all types of treatable hearing loss and can be customized with external control options for easy adjustment.

ITCl devices are easier to insert and remove than smaller in-canal devices (CIC and IIC). These devices won’t interfere with glasses, hats, or other headwear. Custom molding allows for a more comfortable secure fit, even when you’re on the move.

Special Care/Maintenance

Daily cleaning is an essential part of preventing moisture and wax buildup, which becomes a more significant problem with devices that fit in your ear canal. Follow the cleaning directions provided by your hearing care provider or device manufacturer for best results.

In addition to daily cleaning, you will need to replace wax filters and batteries frequently. Manufacturers also recommend following a six month maintenance schedule to optimize performance.
